The chill in the air and Chili and Stew are back on the menu this month to warm you up.  Beginning the week of September 21 we will serve  chili on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Beef Stew will be simmering on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These hearty lunch choices are made with out gluten products. What else is new?  Well, beginning September 12 we will be opening Saturdays at two of our locations.  3434- 99 and 10646- 170 street will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. to ensure you can grab a slice of pie and a cup of coffee on the weekend. The sandwich board will be open and of course until 11:00 a.m. you can even treat yourself to a Good Morning Ham Sammy,  We might be biased but this egg, ham, cheese, tomato, red onion and green pepper wrapped up and grilled in a Cheese Bun is the BEST brekkie sandwich around.  Jacquie suggests you add a few banana peppers to spice it up.  And since it it made just for you you can choose to add those peppers or leave out the green pepper or … well, you get the idea.  It’s your sandwich, your way just like every other sandwich we serve. Some of you are busy making lunches for your little ones.  Remember that our sandwich meat is available for purchase.  10 individual portions of Oven roasted turkey, Black Forest ham, Roast beef or Montreal Smoked meat.  Make mornings a bit less hectic at your house and have a package or two on hand. It ‘s also apple season.  In case your forgot let me remind you that you can purchase ready made pie pastry to create apple pies with pies picked right from your own apple trees. No apples this year? You can still bake pies at home with our Pie Packs.  While you have the oven on you may as well bake a loaf or two of sunflower bread or a dozen Cinnamon buns There is nothing better than the aroma of freshly baked bread out of the oven.  We make it easy for you to do the baking.
