It’s that time.  Beginning May 1 and running the entire month of May our feature pie is Fresh Strawberry.  For many of you it is the pie you wait for.  Mounds of fresh strawberries in a strawberry glaze.  You are just going to want to add a huge dollop of whipped cream.  Frankly, if you do couldn’t you even count that as breakfast? Fruit, Dairy, Crust…. May is also Mother’s Day and again Fresh Strawberry Pies are an ideal gift.  No matter where we are in the COVID phase you can drop one off for mom. It might be to share around her dining table or it might have to be a doorstep drop.  Whichever way she will enjoy the treat and the thought. Remember we still have several Bake at Home options.  We recently did a zoom team building event where participants baked a cream pie together virtually.  If you are interested we can certainly accommodate you and your team. We are open at all four locations Monday – Friday from 9 – 3 and now three locations ( 51 ave., 99 st., 170 st.) are open on Saturdays 9-3 for you to pick up your favorite pie or grab some sandwiches and salads for a picnic lunch.  As always, we recommend that you …..remember the pie (especially in those picnic baskets).  Grab lunch and hit the road.  Maybe take in all Alberta’s Giant Roadside attractions over the next few weeks.  Road Trip!! Just a reminder we are closed on Stat holidays so our staff will be enjoying the day off on May 24. We are looking forward to seeing you soon.
